The Pilot Car Safety & Standards Council (PCSSC) is not affiliated with the National Pilot Car Association (NPCA) or any other existing organization. While many of our founding members previously participated in the NPCA, we chose to form an independent council to better represent the broader interests of the pilot car and heavy haul community.

Our focus is on education, enforcement of existing laws, and collaboration across all sectors of the industry to promote practical, safety-driven standards that truly serve those working on the road every day.

Our Independence
